How to get to Ghaziabad |

As Ghaziabad is adjacent to Delhi, the best way to get to it is via Delhi. It is located at a distance of 45 kilometres from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is well served by road and rail links, and is within easy reach of Delhi airport and railway station. Delhi is well-connected through rail and air to all corners of India and the world. |

| The institute can arrange for airport pickup on request. Pre-paid taxis can also be availed from the airport to Ghaziabad. |

| Banks & Currency Exchange |
| |
USD/Euro and all major Foreign Currencies maybe exchanged at the Airport (after due immigration clearance) where Thomas Cook and other currency exchange counters are located.
There are many FOREX dealers in and around Delhi where currency may be exchanged during normal working hours (10 am to 6 pm) from Monday to Friday.
Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), an Indian public sector bank operates a branch within the campus and provides banking facilities to IMT community. An ATM (ICICI) is located just outside the campus. Many national and international banks have branches in the vicinity. |

| from 40-45 degree Celsius. December January and February is winter. Temperature can go down to 4 degree Celsius. Woolens are needed at this time. The weather remains pleasant in the months of March, September and October. |

| Accommodation |

| The institute provides residential facilities on its premises and students are not required to look for off-campus accommodations. The hostel rooms are furnished with a bed, curtains, study table and a chair. Students are may get their own mattress and blankets. Bathroom and toilet facilities are common for each hostel floor. Every bathroom has running hot and cold water.

| Food and other facilities |

The student hostel has a mess which provides wholesome breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The mess serves primarily Indian cuisine. The campus also boasts of an excellent canteen where a variety of food and beverages are available. Filtered water from water coolers is available on each floor of the hostel.
There are a number of restaurants near IMT offering Chinese, Italian and other continental cuisines. The popular haunts include K’s Café, Nirulas, Donalds, and McDonalds etc.

| Launderette facility |

| Student managers can avail of the launderette facilities available in the hostel for a nominal charge necessary for the maintenance of the washing machines.

| Telephones |

| Outside the mess area, a telephone booth provides for paid local, STD and ISD calls. Many phone booths are located within a radius of 1 kilometer from the campus.

| Computer and Internet facilities |

| Computer centre is equipped with state of the art technology. The intranet installed at IMT has advanced fibre optic cables running at 1 GBPS and a star connected high-speed distributed network that gives a connectivity of 100 MBPS The Internet connectivity is through a satellite based digital 2 MBPS link. Every hostel room is connected with internet and the students are required to bring along their own computers. However those unable to get their personal computers can access any of the 400 terminals functional round the clock at the three computers labs on campus. Computer labs also provide printing and scanning facilities.

| Sports and recreation |

| IMT has a well-maintained lush green playing field. Residential students get to unwind on the football field and the volleyball, badminton and basketball courts. The cricket pitch, quintessential to any Indian sports complex draws many enthusiasts. Carom, chess and table tennis are other popular options. Fitness freaks are encouraged to sweat it out in the gym. A television with cable connection is provided in the dining hall for student’s viewing.

| Fresh fruits, vegetables and groceries are available in the local Sector 10 market that is at a walking distance from the campus. Local students and the international linkages committee will be very happy to help you in locating stores and specialized items.
