Dr Gupta is B. Tech ( Mech. ) DCE, M.Tech (Industrial Engineering and Production Engineering) and Ph.D. in TQM-CIM from IIT Delhi with over 34 years of rich Industry and Academic experience at Top Management Positions.

Trained extensively in Japan by Experts from JUSE, JMA and AOTS and CEOs of leading Japanese Mega Corporations, Dr Gupta was CEO India of JMA Management Center Inc., Japan ( a part of multi Billion US $ training and consulting organization ).

Dr Gupta has held top management positions CEO / VP / GM in leading India Corporate and MNCs and turned around a number of sick companies into profitable, state of the art organizations and businesses and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia and Far East.

Dr Gupta has conducted over 1200 training and consulting assignments in Indian Public and Private Sector Organizations and leading MNCs on Strategy Management, SCM, Lean, TQM, TPM, Six Sigma, Project Management, Communication and Leadership etc.

Dr Gupta has over 80 International publications to his credit including research papers in International Journals, International Conferences including National Standard on 5S about 50 text books on Japanese Management and Best Practices rewritten, edited and published on behalf of JMA Group, Japan.

Dr Gupta has been Chairman of IIIE NR, Vice Chairman Technical of SAE NR, Founder ember of FAAAI, EC member of IITD PAN IIT committee, IITD AA, GIFT and is on Governing body of many leading professional organizations. He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers, Fellow if Institution of electronics and Telecommunication engineers, Fellow of Institution of Industrial Engineering and Fellow of Institute of Industrial Managers UK.

Dr Gupta has been a visiting faculty at dept of Management Studies, IIT Delhi on SCM, SM and Telecom management, Behavioral area; an External Examiner at IIT Delhi; and Professor Operations and Strategy Management at a leading Business School.
