Dr. Subhajit Bhattacharyya received his Ph.D. in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai.  Prior to this he obtained M. Sc. in Applied Mathematics. He has an experience of over ten years in the areas of teaching, research and industry with a total work experience of over 15 years. His interest areas include International Trade, Industrial Organization, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. He has participated in many national and international conferences. He spent some time in USA as a participant in the International Visitor Programme of the Department of State, Government of USA and visited other countries in research-related activities.
