Dr. Nina Jacob has a Master’s degree from Bombay University, a second Master’s degree from Carleton University, Canada, and a Doctorate degree from Gujarat University. Her Ph.D. guide was Dr. Pradip Khandwalla, then director of IIMA.
She has over nineteen years of post-doctoral experience as a faculty member at business schools of note and repute in India. Additionally, she has been a one-year visiting professor of cross-cultural management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands, and a one semester visiting professor of managerial creativity at the IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain. This business school has been ranked as the best business school in the world by the London Financial Times in 2009. She was also a visiting professor for one year five months at the KS Graduate School of Business, St. Gallen, Switzerland, where she taught organizational behavior at the Strathclyde MBA programme. She has also taught at St. Gallen University Switzerland’s MBA programme, and at the Bradford University, Dubai’s MBA programme. She presented papers on cross-cultural management at an international conference held at Oxford University, UK in 2008, at the M’OI international conference held in Philadelphia, USA in 2005, at the ICQCC international conference held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1999, and at the IQCC international conference held in Mauritius in 1998.
She is the author of Intercultural Management published by Kogan-Page, UK in 2003, and Creativity in Organizations published by Wheeler Publishing, New Delhi in 1998.
She teaches organizational behavior, organizational structure and design, cross-cultural management, and organizational & managerial creativity.
