Application Process
Submitting an application
To apply to IMT an applicant must complete the online application form. There is
one common application form for all four campuses - Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad
and Dubai (September 2012 batch at Dubai campus). For Admissions to January 2012
batch at Dubai campus a separate form is applicable.
On the form the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details,
etc. and one of the following: registration number for CAT 2011 or ID for XAT 2012
or ID for GMAT.
After completing the form, make payment by one of three options:
Pay directly through credit/debit card: If the payment goes through, the
application is considered submitted. Candidates can then check the status of their
application by clicking on the following link http://sis.imtcdl.ac.in/ia/FormsReceived1.aspx
Pay through demand draft: The applicant must make a demand payable to “Institute
of Management Technology” at Ghaziabad for the amount of Rs 1,750. On the form,
applicants must provide the demand draft number, name of bank, date, location of
bank and amount. After providing these details, the applicant will be directed to
a new window that has the details of the information submitted and the ‘tear-off’
sheet together with an ‘Application Form Number’. Candidates should take a printout
of this form and keep it for their future reference. Candidates must affix their
passport-size self-attested photo to the tear-off sheet and send the demand draft
along with it. Once the demand draft and tear-off sheet are received by IMT Ghaziabad,
the status is automatically updated on the following link: http://sis.imtcdl.ac.in/ia/FormsReceived1.aspx
Candidates are advised to have their demand draft details ready before filling the
form.
Pay through IMS Receipt: IMT is liked with IMS and the applicant can directly
make a payment at IMS centres. On the online form, the applicant must provide the
IMS receipt number, IMS centre name and receipt date. After filling in these details,
they will be directed to a new window that has the details of the information submitted
and the ‘tear-off’ sheet together with an ‘Application Form Number’. Candidates
should take a printout of this form and keep it for their future reference. Candidates
must affix their passport-size, self-attested photo to the “tear-off” sheet and
send the IMS Receipt along with it. Once the IMS Receipt and tear-off sheet is received
by IMT Ghaziabad, the status is automatically updated.

Last date for submitting an online application and receiving online payment/DD/IMS/Career Launcher/TIME
receipt is January 20, 2012.
Last date for submitting an online application, for January 2012 batch at IMT Dubai,
is October 31st, 2011.
Short-listing for interviews:
This year, applicants may submit any one of three test scores: CAT 2011, XAT 2012
or a GMAT score. Candidates can also submit more than one test score and IMT will
consider the best of the two or three scores when short-listing candidates for interviews.
Candidates will be short-listed for interviews on the basis of their CAT, XAT or
GMAT score only. Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview round at
the centre they had selected in the application form.
Admissions Decision
Admission decisions will be made after all interviews are conducted and admission
offers will be made to the selected candidates.
New Admit information
All the new admits will be provided information on fees, schedule, accommodation,
etc.
Course Start
Full-time, Executive and Dual Country Programs start June 2012.
