The full time courses at IMT are compulsorily residential. The campus is spread over more than 14 acres with sprawling lush green lawns and ambient atmosphere most conducive for learning. All facilities are provided for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games to keep students physically and mentally fit. The interaction between the students, from various parts of the country in itself provides valuable educational input. Learning beyond the classroom is also extended to an amphitheatre
on campus which is set amidst a botanical garden. The diversity of options inside IMT's classrooms is mirrored by the spectrum of opportunities outside the class. These activities form a valuable part of the training at IMT. Student's direct involvement in every facet of IMT life, thus dealing with life size projects injects great amount of confidence. Each student is a member of at least one (of the many) professional committees.
